The Big V

It was a such a rush on V/Line that night. My tummy was bursting with hunger when we got to the office. “Let’s just go eat” I was thinking. We walked 2km from the office to get there. It was such a relief when we got to the restaurant.

I was worried there wasn’t any tables left it was so busy. But the waiter said it would only be 5 minutes. There was a big semi-circle wall which had all the specials. Comfortable wooden chairs. The waiters were dressed smartly and had lovely voices. Delicious smells of spaghetti and pizza wafted around our noses as we waited for a table. I was tempted by everything vegetarian on the menu. I watched the cooks as they cooked the meals – I saw two gigantic balls of fire rise up from the saucepan. A very nice man came and took our order. It was quite loud and very busy inside and there was a birthday dinner over in the corner. That shows just how popular this place is.

We ordered two pizzas – Mushroom and Eggplant. The Mushroom pizza had truffle on it – my favourite! We tried Tiramasu – Remo’s favourite (he’s the owner). The taste was absolutely delicious – I gave it a 10 out of 10. The pizza too! Just the same. It’s the perfect restaurant to start this website with.

Remember – always be polite to waiters! I got a free cup of hot chocolate from the waitress because she was generous and appreciated my good manners. I saw smiling faces and I knew that the guests were very happy when they left. The smell of the pizzas was still circling around my nose when I left.
