Vegetarian Nirvana Cafe
Nirvana is a cool Indian restaurant in Richmond which is filled with spices and the waiters are very kind and friendly. I went with Mum, Dad and my Pa for a special dinner. I recorded what some of my favourite meals were. Here it is!
Samosa and Pakora
The samosa is a hot, spicy, triangular pastry filled with spices, potatoes and peas. It is a great start off and keeps you awake! The pakoras are similarly delicious with lots of spinach, all rolled into a ball.
Mutter Paneer
Let’s move on the mains. The Mutter Paneer is a mix of green peas and cottage cheese. It has a very calm taste and the cheese softens the meal. Pa ordered this one, and I think he made a very good decision.
Daal Makhani
This meal is stuffed with a mix of brown lentils and delicious kidney beans! These are smothered with ginger (our favourite) and a special curry sauce. Yum!
Palak Paneer and Palak Aloo
These two dishes included spinach, potatoes and spices galore! Mum and I tried out these meals and they tasted really great.
Sides
The sides included roti garlic bread, floppy but great! We also had saffron rice, a yellow rice, perfect with curry. But most of all you can never miss the crunchy, golden papaddam!
Dessert
The Honey Pistachio Ice Cream is Heaven! It is a lovely dessert featuring the nut – pistachio! The honey makes it sweet and lush.
