ANNIJO!

Monday was the best day ever. Not only was it nice and sunny, but Adam, Nellie, Jazz, Izzy, Noah (who are all in my class) and we got to run our own restaurant! Its name is ANNIJO and it is Mexican.
It all started when Mrs V (our teacher) had this great idea of splitting us into groups and sending us out to create a restaurant – serving lunch to our class 3/4V. But, first we needed to convince her that we could do it. This was our homework, and over many pleads and wishes, Mrs V said – yes!
After we celebrated our triumph it was time to get crackin’! Over the next two weeks it was head down, bottom up. We fished out recipes, planned table settings, employed people and did much more. But that wasn’t all. At home, we needed to prepare food to take to school on the day. Mum and I made 22 rice paper rolls to give to the class!
On the day we busied the class with activities, set up the classroom and heated the food. All went well, and ANNIJO ate the left overs for lunch.
I think ANNIJO did fantastically and Mrs V (I think) does too. I would love to do this project again! Thank you Mrs V!
ANNIJO are:

Hi Jasmine,
That was such a cool poem!
You have a talent, maybe you could become a funny poet when you get older-like Spike Milligan!
I would like to here more of these poems… up for a challenge?
See you!
