Flippers! Naughty but nice

flippers

Flippers is a cool floating takeaway boat we found while walking in Hobart! Here’s a picture of me eating a naughty but nice potato cake outside the boat.

Even though I don’t eat fish, I still enjoy potato cakes!

Machine Laundry Cafe vs Cuiccio (Hobart!)

Machine Laundry Cafe

Of all the places, I insist,
The Machine Laundry is top of the list,
Do you washing, eat your lunch,
Scrub, scrub, scrub, munch, munch, munch!
Thai style soup, yolky eggs,
While you hang your washing on pegs (not really!)
Handywork and yummy food,
You’ll always be in the mood!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Vote for the Machine Laundry, it’ll take you to heaven!

Ciuccio

Ciuccio, Ciuccio, shout out loud,
Bad food, bad food isn’t allowed,
Pasta, pizza, Italian galore,
And other good foods, best you ever saw!
Ciuccio, Ciuccio, clap you hands,
Pizza, pizza, spaghetti demands,
Yum, yum, yum, eat, eat, eat,
And while you’re eating drum to the beat,
Ciuccio, Ciuccio eat to the core
Now go out, eat at it then go and explore!

Pellegrini’s Espresso Bar

Pellegrini’s, pasta dreams,
The friendly waiters, everybody beams,
All well known for their mozzarella cheese,
And may the homemade sauces never cease,
First we start with some buttered bread,
It will fill a hungry tummy to clear the head,
Then comes the main meal, pasta of course,
It could be penne with parmesan and sauce,
Or maybe little pillows filled with stuffing,
Choose any type, I’m not bluffing,
To end you might want a finishing cakes,
But that’s basically all that Pellegrini’s makes,
Pelligrinis, pasta dreams
And that’s the end, as everybody beams!

Go go Games Workshop!

Are you stuck in Melbourne trying to find a cool place to have fun and relax at?

The Games Workshop is for you! You can paint fantasy figurines, play cool techno-battle games and design your own playing board. When Dad and I found it the other day, I experienced a 40 minute realistic fantasy game and loved it. I decided I would start collecting characters to paint and play with until I had enough to start a real game with.

My first character was a cool SpaceMarine robot from one of those techno war games. It looked pretty cool! I started with painting the whole thing red. Then I added in detail like eyes, lasers, chest plates and masks. After all the work, I stood back and admired my SpaceMarine.

When I looked at the time, It was already 10 minutes to 2!  We needed to catch the train back to Geelong. “Can’t we just do ONE more?” I pleaded Dad. But we had to go. I was determined to come back to Games Workshop nevertheless!

GAMES WORKSHOP ROCKS!!!!

Launch of my Aunty Di’s album

Lights Flashing, smoke rising

Drums clashing, Guitars sizing

Excitement fills the hot, spring air

Nothing’s  boring, music beyond compare

The drums is loud, the music hard

But the audience thinks the band gets gold card!

‘ROCK”N ROLL!’ the audience screams,

“Yep, rock’n roll” the band redeems!

Dresses spinning round and round,

Barely making any sound,

Shoes are meters from the ground,

Everybody’s loving it, I’ll be bound!

Lights flashing, smoke rising

Drums clashing, guitars sizing

I’ll keep on dancing till the end,

It’s jazz and rock with a bend!
